The Catholic Church

What is the Catholic Church? First of all the word "Church" comes from a greek word which means "Assembly" so the Church is the assembly of all God's children. The Church has many different titles which explain different aspects of it, it is called the "People of God" the "Bride of Christ" the "NEW EVE" the "Mother of all the Living" and many other titles. Jesus is the DIVINE NEW ADAM and the Church is the divine NEW EVE. The Church includes the Angels and Saints in Heaven and the souls in Purgatory and the people on earth who have God in their heart. God is not in our heart if we have committed serious sin (the Ten Commandments are all serious sins) and have not made sincere repentance for it or if we are living with hatred or any other serious wrong feelings in our heart for God or other people. Saint Paul said that the Church is the "Mystical Body of Christ" because it is the NEW EVE or the Spouse of Jesus. When a man and woman get married they become united as one flesh (See Genesis Chapter 2: 22–24) "22 And the Lord God built the rib which he took from Adam into a woman: and brought her to Adam. 23 And Adam said: This now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man. 24 Wherefore a man shall leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be two in one flesh." Jesus wants to be in the heart of every human being He has created so that they can be with Him in Heaven for all eternity. In order to bring this about He started the Catholic Church and instituted the Mass where He gives us His Body, Blood, Soul and divinity under the appearance of Bread and Wine. At the Mass or Eucharist we are already being made "One flesh" with Jesus. Jesus gave us the Seven sacraments of the Church (Baptism, Confession, Holy Communion, Confirmation, Sacrament of the sick, Marriage and Priesthood) so that we can be united to Him for eternity in Heaven. Baptism is the first sacrament we need to become full members of the Church but the Catholic Church believes that anybody of any religion who dies with sincere repentance for all their sins allows God to enter their heart and they are saved (God is the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit). When we make sincere repentance we are in the state of Grace which means God can dwell in our soul. So Muslims, Jews, Budhists, Hindus etc will be saved if they die repenting of their sins. And many of these people are very religious and have great belief in God and will have no problem entering Heaven but it would be much better if they got to know God better in this life and met Him in the person of His only Son Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church. Alot of Bible Christians do not believe that non christians can go to Heaven! Unfortunately they believe that if a person is not a Christian they are going to hell! They believe all of them, men, women and children are going to hell because they never got to believe in Jesus! What kind of God do they believe in that He would create so many creatures who would never have a chance to believe in Jesus and so they are destined for hell? Everyone on this planet has the same chance of being saved! But why not be a full member of the Church that Jesus came to earth to start and where we can get so many graces to get to know God already here on earth!
